Patanjali CEO visits Nizamabad Nizamabad, Nov 15 (INN): Nizamabad MP K Kavita and Patanjali CEO Balakrishna on Tuesday visited Sattupally village in Nandipet Mandal in Nizamabad and inspected the turmeric crop.
Speaking to media persons, Kavita said that Patanjali would establish turmeric based company in the district. She said that the firm would be established under the TSiPass rules. She said that turmeric crop could revitalize health of the masses and could revitalize state's economy. Telangana accounts for 60 per cent of the total turmeric produced in India.
Kavita had recently met yoga guru Ramdev and requested him to set up a turmeric plant by Patanjali in Nizamabad.
Patanjali CEO Balakrishna said that the company would need about 100 to 200 acres of land if it decides to set up its plan. He said that the State Government has assured to extend all required support to Patanjali group.
MLAs Ganesh Gupta, Jeevan Reddy, Bajireddy Goverdhan, MLC Dr. Bhupat Reddy, Joint Collector Ravinder Reddy, DCMS Chairman M.K. Mujeebuddin, Nizamabad Mayor Akula Sujatha and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
