GHMC's draft budget presented
Hyderabad, Nov 17 (INN): The draft budget of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for the financial year 2017-18 was presented before the GHMC Standing Committee on Thursday.
The draft budget was presented in Standing Committee's meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. The Committee is likely to hold detailed discussion on the draft budget during its meeting to be held on November 24.
Meanwhile, the Committee has unanimously approved seven items in the agenda. They include shifting of GHMC Call Centre 030-21111111 to GMK-EMRI. It was also discussed to link the Emergency Calls received by GHMC to 蔴". The committee also approved the process for payment of compensation for 310 properties which will be affected due to expansion of road by 80 feet from Tappachabutra Police Station to Royal Sea Hotel, Saleem Hotel, Jamia Masjid, Shahed Nagar to Asif Nagar. The expansion of other roads in the city was also discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Standing Committee members and corporators B. Prakash, V. Srinivas Reddy, R. Padma Naik, T. Sonarita Reddy, G. Anjaiah, K. Narendra, M. Kavitha, K. Saibaba, M.A. Ghaffar, Syed Sohail Quadri, Ayesha Rubina, Syed Minhajuddin, GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy and other senior officials.
