Dattatraya inaugurates magicians' convention
Hyderabad, Nov 19 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya inaugurated the Choomantar Magic Asia 2016 - International Magicians Convention in Hyderabad today.
While addressing the first international magicians' convention, Dattatreya described magic as a wonderful art. Magic should be used as a skill development programme. The Union Minister appealed to the International Magic Community to use magic as a tool to create awareness about importance of health and education.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali said that magic entertains people and there was a need to promote this art.
Participating in the inaugural function, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) chairman S. Satyanarayana said that magic needs skill which is beyond the imagination of human eye. The efficiency and perfection can be achieved only after the practice. He appealed to the magicians not to misuse the art of magic.
Magicians from several nations including Japan, Thailand, China, Indonesia, etc. have participated in the Convention.
