Consult all CMs on demonetization: KCR to Modi
Hyderabad, Nov 19 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed at length about the currency demonetisation and its impact.
According to reports, KCR has suggested the PM to convene a meeting of all CMs to chalk out an action plan to oversee the centre's demonetization drive.
KCR has suggested the PM to ensure that the common people are not subjected to hardships. He also said that enough measures should be taken to ensure that the poor and the farmers are not subjected to inconvenience. The reports say that the Chief Minister has expressed concerns over the steep fall in state revenues after the demonetization drive was taken up last week.
