PK expresses disappointment over demonetization
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (INN): Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Sunday said that the Centre's demonetization move has severely hit the poor and the middle classes in the state.
In a media statement, Pawan Kalyan said that the Centre's move has made the life of the poor difficult as the rural economy has crumbled due to the ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
The Jana Sena chief said that the Centre has not made enough measures to deal with the situation. He demanded the Centre to ensure that the old and the women are not subjected to difficulties during the currency exchange drive.
Expressing disappointment over the poor implementation of the drive, the actor said that going by the current situation at banks and ATMs across the country, it seems that the Centre has not taken enough measures to implement the drive hassle free. He demanded the Centre to take steps to ensure that the people are not subjected to the hardships.
