Act against stash in foreign banks, says Gaddar Hyderabad, Nov 20 (INN): Famous poet-singer Gaddar said that the government's efforts to curb black money would go in vain until action is not taken against those stashing black money in foreign banks and are part of the ruling party and the political class. The revolutionary poet said that the rich and the corporate were aware of the Centre's demonetization drive.
Taking a jibe at the BJP, Gaddar said that those leaders who came to power with the help of black money are now safe while the common man is facing severe hardships due to Centre's decision to demonetize Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. Gaddar was speaking at a programme in Tupraan, his native village.
Speaking to media persons later, Gaddar said that the Centre should immediately take steps to bring back the black money stashed by the Indians in foreign banks. He said that the Centre's move has only put the poor to hardships while the rich are safe and are least affected.
