Women's safety is top priority: HM
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (INN): Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy said that the state government was giving priority on providing security to women in the state.
Speaking at a programme organized by a fitness centre here on Sunday, Narsimha Reddy said the as many as 100 She Teams are working in the capital city to curb crimes against women. He said that the concept has resulted in steep fall in cases like eve-teasing and other crimes against the women in the state. He said that the government will increase the number of 'She Team' services across the state in a phased manner. The minister said that the state government was dealing the issues of law and order in the state with iron hand.
