CBI conducts raids on post offices Hyderabad, Nov 24 (INN): In the wake of allegations of irregularities taking place in banks and post offices with regard to exchange of currency notes, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths on Thursday conducted raids on as many as eight post offices in Hyderabad.
The CBI officials seized Rs 40 lakh from Narayanguda Post Office during a raid.
The officials have seized documents and are investigating the matter, sources said.
It may be recalled that the IT department have been informed about huge deposits in bank and post offices accounts reportedly by black money holder to convert their stash to white.
