Demonetisation hit 90 % people: CPM Hyderabad, Nov 25 (INN): CPM secretary and former MLA Julakanti Rangareddy said that a vast majority of people in the country are opposed to the Centre's demonetization drive. Speaking to media persons here, the CPM leader said that the demonetization policy has severely affected the poor. He said that the poor are finding it difficult to meet their daily needs due to ban on currency notes. He said that the Centre is punishing the poor in the name of fighting black money. He said that 90 per cent people are suffering due to Centre's illogical policy.
The CPM leader said that the Centre should catch the persons who are stashing black money in foreign banks. He appealed the people to participate in the bandh call given by Opposition parties to protest demonetization on November 28.
