Policies helping bearing fruits: Ministers Suryapet, Nov 27 (INN): Minister Jagdish Reddy said that the TRS government was ready to spend any amount of funds for the welfare of the farmers.
The minister, along with Irrigation Minister Harish Rao, took part in various development programmes in Tungaturthi constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took up redesigning of projects only with an aim to help the farmers. He said that the state government aimed at providing irrigation to one acre of land. He said that the farmers are being provided nine hour power.
He lauded Irrigation expert Vidyasagar Rao saying that he exposed in the past how Telangana was deprived of the irrigation facilities before the creation of state.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that the state government was providing good MSP to the farmers for their produce and is providing ample facilities for marketing their produce. He said that the state government would establish market yards at Tungaturthi and Alvapalli which would benefit the farmers of the region. He said that by linking Kaleshwaran Project with SRSP the government would provide irrigation to Suryapet farmers.
