Welfare sector in doldrums in TS: CPM Medak, Nov 27 (INN): CPM secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Sunday said that the KCR government which claimed to have spent a large chunk of budget on welfare scheme has now completely neglect the same.
Speaking at a programme at Medak town as part of his Mahajana Padayatra, the CPM leader hit out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that he has failed to fulfill major poll promises. He said that the education, health sectors in the state are in doldrums as the state government is not spending anything on these sectors. He also said that the state government is being indifferent to the farmers' sufferings.
The CPM leader along with party activists met labourers and enquired them if they were receiving the benefits of the state's welfare schemes.
