Naidu stresses on strengthening party in TS Hyderabad, Nov 27 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday said that the party was formed with an aim to work for the welfare of the Telugu people and resolved that the party would continue to do so in the future also.
The TD chief on Sunday chaired the party's Telangana unit general body meeting at NTR Trust Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, Naidu said that the party would strive for the welfare of the poor and the down trodden sections in the society. He appealed the party workers to concentrate on strengthening the party from the grassroots and also increasing the party membership. He said that the party was working for the welfare of the people in both the Telugu states. He said that the party could come to power in Telangana also and exhorted the party workers in unity to build party.
Speaking on the occasion, Telangana TD president L Ramana said the party was emerging strong in the state. He said that the party had worked for the upliftment of the masses in the past and hence the people are reposing faith in the party in the state as an alternative force.
