AP CM asks bankers to ease out difficulties Vijayawada, Nov 28 (INN): Coming down heavily on the bankers for failing to ease out difficulties of common people during exchange of currency, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government would not tolerate if the common people were subjected to hardships.
Speaking at a review meeting with the representatives of banks here on Monday, Chandrababu Naidu said that it was improper for the banks to play with the lives of the common people. He rued that the bankers failed to address the issues of common man. He said that the people were facing severe hardships at banks as the bankers had no proper information disseminated from the RBI. He said that even after three weeks of demonetization people were still suffering due to unavailability of cash at ATMs and banks. He directed the bankers to monitor the situation from time to time and address issues immediately in coordination with the state government and the RBI authorities.
