YSR Congress slam KCR Hyderabad, Nov 30 (INN): Telangana YSR Congress demanded that the TRS Government fulfill its promise of reviving the Nizam Sugar Factory and materialize the promises made to the factories workers.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, YSRC general secretary B Srinivas Rao said that the state government failed to fulfill its promise of reviving the closed units of NSF. He said that KCR has ditched hundreds of workers of the factory by not fulfilling his poll promise. Many workers of the factory have committed suicide due to mounting debts and for losing their jobs but the government is least bothered to solve their pending issues, the YSRC leader said,
The workers of NDSL had to get 11 months arrears at the time of its closure and the government should take steps to ensure that the workers get their dues, the YSRC leader said. He also demanded the government to help sugarcane growers and establish research centre in the sugarcane growing regions in the state.
