Watch: Thummala's Banter on 'Kamma' Caste
The two Telugu states have gone beyond repair when it comes to caste feeling and there is no denying fact. The Karthika vana bhojana meetings which was intended for pleasant meetings now changed their version with gatherings of a particular caste. People gathering at the meetings only to boast about their caste. Even top political leaders are not an exception.
Now a video of Telangana Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao is going viral on web. The video shows Tummala speaking about Kamma community . Speaking at karthika vana samaradhana Tummala said that Kamma is a unique and special caste and that God created the caste people with special interest. The remarks of the minister didn't goes well and some people started trolling the remarks n social media.
Its known that Thummala belonged to Khammam district where the Kamma population was relatively high. Tummala worked very closely with TDP until the state's bifurcation in 2014, after which he joined TRS and is currently serving as the R & B Minister in the KCR government.
