TSIIC reviews land acquisition for Pharma City Hyderabad, Dec 3 (INN): Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Chairman G. Bala Mallu on Saturday visited the Hyderabad Pharma City to review the acquisition of land procured in the villages of Meerkhanpet, Panjaguda, Mucherla of Kandukur Mandal, Kurmidda and Medipally of Yacharam Mandal.
The Zonal Manager, TSIIC, Shamshabad submitted the village wise particulars of lands for which requisition filed, possession taken over by TSIIC so far. The TSIIC Chairman informed that in the first phase the TSIIC has taken an extent of Acs.5646-31Gts in the village of Meerkhanpet, Panjaguda, Mucherla of Kandukur Mandal, Kurmidda and Medipally of Yacharam Mandal and DILL Lands in Mudwin village of Kadthal Mandal.
A total extent of 12,500 Acres is required for the Pharma City Project and the balance land is being acquired in the second phase. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Kandukur and Ibhrahimpatan were also present during the visit of the Chairman.
The TSIIC Chairman requested the Revenue Divisional Officers to expedite the process for procurement of land by conducting negotiations from the pattedars and assignees of both patta and assigned land wherever necessary. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director clarified the Revenue Divisional Officers to fix up the land value keeping in view of the potentiality of the land as TSIIC is ready to pay the compensation to avoid litigation and legal hurdles.
During the visit of Chairman, the Supintending Engineer, Roads & Buildings and Executive Engineer were also present and explained about the progress of work taken up in widening of road and an additional approach proposed from Srisailam Highway i.e., from Kothur gate point to Meerkhanpet having a distance of about 8.00 Kmtrs.
Bala Mallu requested the RDO, Kandukur the Roads & Building authorities to complete the land acquisition process at the earliest as the access proposed to Pharma City is essential.
The Chairman further stated that Pharma City Project was very important and big project in the state. He said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao desires to have this project in Telangana State with Pharma University and a Pharma City with developed Technology. The Pharma City Project is expected to create about employment opportunities for 1.5 lakh youths in different skills.
