TTD member Sekhar Reddy sacked
Vijayawada, Dec 10 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday removed Sekhar Reddy from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) following the IT raids and seizure of huge cash and gold from his house in Chennai.
The actions in the wake of mounting pressure from the Left and other Opposition parties who demanded Sekhar Reddy's sacking from the TTD. The IT officials have seized Rs 90 crore including Rs 70 crore in new currency notes of Rs 2,000 and over 100 kg of gold from Sekhar Reddy's Chennai residence earlier this week.
