Revanth files PIL on spurious seeds
Hyderabad, Dec 15 (INN): Telangana TD working president A Revanth Reddy on Thursday filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in Hyderabad High Court requesting the Court to act against the firms selling spurious seeds and punish them under PD Act. He said that the farmers have suffered severe losses due spurious seed supplied to them.
The TD leader informed the media that the state government failed in containing the supply of spurious seeds across the state which led to losses to the farmers. Despite several pleas, the state government failed to bring those responsible of supplying spurious seeds to book, the TD leader said.
