The target set for the first half during 2016-17 was 16.42% but due to insufficient rainfall and other bifurcation issues, the state has achieved 12.23% growth rate, mentioned the Chief Minister.

He directed the officials to come up with implementable action plans to achieve a growth rate of 14.41% in the second half of 2016-17.

Projects such as Polavaram, irrigation, capital construction, housing, CC road construction will need a large number of workers and this will surely be a good opportunity to be grabbed.
