Opposition misleading people: AP BJP chief Visakhapatnam, Dec 18 (INN): Visakhapatnam MP and BJP Andhra Pradesh unit chief K Haribabu on Sunday accused the Opposition parties of creating confusion among the masses in the wake of demonetization.
Speaking to media person here, Haribabu said that the Modi Government took up demonetization with an aim to wipe out corruption and black money from the country and hence the exercise should be supported. He said that the Centre would deal strictly with the persons diverting the new currency.
He said that the Centre was aware of the sufferings of the people and was making all possible efforts to ease out difficulties. He said that the nearly 2 lakh ATMs have been recalibrated till now and this will ease out the situation.
The BJP MP found fault with actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan saying that the issues he raised does not have anything to do with BJP or the Central government. The issue of playing national anthem in theatres was a Supreme Court rule and BJP has nothing to do with it, the BJP leader said. Pawan Kalyan had attacked the ruling BJP at the Centre on a host of issues like cow slaughter, suicide of Dalit scholar Rohit Vemula, missing of JNU student Najeeb Ahmed and others.
