Modi's statements confusing people: TDP Amaravati, Dec 18 (INN): MLC and senior TD leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's varying statements on demonetization policy are confusing people and there has been no relief to the masses due to note ban.
Speaking to media persons here, Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that the demonetization policy has severely affected the poor and the middle class people, even as the influential people got new currency home delivered. He alleged that influential people were getting new currency notes straight from the RBI. PM is telling one thing in the morning and other thing in the evening about the demonetization and this is confusing the people, the TD leader said. He demanded the Centre to increase the printing capacity of government presses to print currency. He said that the government should take over the private presses to print currency notes so as to overcome currency crisis.
The TD leader also hit out at YSRCP chief Jagan saying that he lost his repute when he went to jail. He said that YSRCP chief was paying for his misdeeds.
The TD MLC said that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was doing a lot for the all round development of the state and for the welfare of people of sections of the society. He said that the TD government had worked for the welfare of Kapus in the state and alleged that Kapu leader Mudragada fell in the trap of YSRC and was acting on that party's directions.
