Case filed against Pawan Kalyan Hyderabad, Dec 18 (INN): A case has been booked against actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan at Saroornagar Police Station for alleged contempt of Supreme Court order on playing National Anthem at theaters.
One Janardhan Goud, an advocate, filed a case against the actor saying that he had criticized the Supreme Court order of playing National Anthem at theaters. He alleged that the actor by criticizing apex court order has indulged in anti-national activity.
It may noted that the popular actor has targeted BJP over a host of issues like cow slaughter, suicide of HCU based dalit scholar Rohit Vemula, JNU missing student Najeeb Ahmed and other issues. He had accused the BJP of labeling those opposing the party's line of thinking as anti-nationals.
