Dilsuknagar blast: Five IM-men sentenced to death Hyderabad, Dec 19 (INN): A special NIA court on Monday sentenced five convicts, including Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yaseen Bhatkal, to death in the 2013 Dilsuknagar bomb blasts case. The five were held guilty in the blast by the NIA court on December 13.
Mohammed Riyaz alias Riyaz Bhatkal , Asadullah Akthar alias Hadi, Zia-ur-Rahman alias Waqas , Mohammed Tahseen Akthar alias Hassan, Ahmed Siddibappa Zarrar alias Yasin Bhatkal and Ajaz Shaikh were held guilty by NIA Court. In this case 157 witnesses were examined and 201 materials related to the case were seized during the probe, sources said.
The twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar on February 21, 2013 had killed 18 persons, and injured 131 others.
