Seemandhra MPs vetoed Siddipet rail line: KCR Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao has alleged that the revenge-seeking Seemandhra MPs have obstructed the Siddipet railway line sanctioned by the Centre.
Speaking to the media in Konayipally in Medak district on Monday, KCR said they would relentlessly work for all-round development of the region and make people very happy after the formation of Telangana State.
He assured that the new government in Telangana would regularize services of contract employees in all the departments. Besides, they would also provide water for irrigation to Gajwel, Siddipet and Dubbak mandals, he added.
Alleging grave irregularities in the ongoing Hyderabad Metro Rail project works, he said they would inspect the HMR project works after Telangana State came into being and expose the scams.
He also alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had extracted kickbacks worth several hundred crores from the L&T company, which was executing the HMR project works.
The TRS leader said he would consider about merging his party with the Congress party only if Telangana State was formed without any pre-conditions. He also disclosed that his party would attend the meeting convened by the GoM and present their views.
Earlier, KCR worshipped Lord Venkateshwara Swamy in Konayipally.Stating that he had launched the Telangana movement after worshipping Lord Venkateshwara Swamy in Konayipally, KCR said he would perform Abhisekham to the Lord with the Godavari waters.
He said creation of Telangana State was realized because of the blessings of Koinapally Venkateshwara Swami.Stating that he had abandoned Siddipet heart-broken, the TRS chief patted party leader and MLA Harish Rao for bringing him glory.
Stating that he would not forget the love and total support of Siddipet people for his party, KCR declared that he would make Siddipet as district headquarters and develop it on par with Hyderabad.
He said he would transform Siddipet as a green area and asserted that the support of Siddipet people in waging Telangana movement was unforgettable.
