High Command summons Kiran to Delhi Hyderabad, Nov 6 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been called by the Congress High Command to New Delhi on November 8. The Chief Minister will be in Delhi on Friday, a day after the Group of Ministers on Telangana will meet for the third time.
His visit will be of high political significance as the GoM is likely to give nod to several issued related to the process of formation of Telangana State. Further, the Centre might seek his views on the all-party meeting on the issue to be held on November 12 and 13th in the national capital.
However, sources say that the Chief Minister has been summoned in view of his recent statements opposing the Centre's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh. He might be convinced by the Central leadership to support the Centre's move in dividing the State to carve out Telangana.
