Hindupur: TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu attended the marriage of former Minister and Hindupuram MP Nimmala Kistappa's elder son at Gorantla in the district on Thursday.
Naidu blessed the newlywed couple Ambarish and Saikumudvati. Several TDP MPs and MLAs also attended the function. Police made foolproof security arrangements in view of Naidu's visit.
Earlier TDP leaders gave a grand welcome to Naidu and his son Lokesh at Devanahalli airport in Bengaluru. He reached the village by road. Later they held discussions with party ac tivists and left for Bengaluru. Revenue Minister N Raghu veera Reddy also attended the wedding.
