Shankar Rao to build Sonia temple Hyderabad: Former minister and Secunderabad Cantonment MLA P Shankar Rao said he would build a temple for AICC president Sonia Gandhi in his constituency for announcing Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here, Shankar Rao also called upon all the legislators in the Telangana region to build temples for Sonia Gandhi in their constituencies for her gesture.
He has also announced that he would install a statue of Sonia Gandhi in Secunderabad on December 9 this year to perpetuate her name in the history for conceding the demand of the Telangana region.
The former minister slammed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy once again for the latter's anti-Telangana stance. He said the Chief Minister had no moral right to tour the Telangana districts.
He said if Kiran Kumar Reddy was invited to visit Telangana districts to conduct Rachabanda, the sponsors of the CM programme would be treated as Samaikyandhra protagonist.
