YSRCP state leel meet today Hyderabad: As part of preparations for the General Elections which it sees round the corner, the YSR Congress Party will organise an extended party meeting here on Monday to discuss the latest political situation and the party's electoral prospects.
Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will attend the meeting and address the leaders. Members of Central Governing Council (CGC) and Political Affairs Committee (PAC), MPs, MLAs, coordinators in parliament and Assembly Constituencies, district unit conveners and the members of the affiliated bodies have been instructed to attend the meeting without failure.
According to party leaders, the ongoing united State struggle, party's stand on the bifurcation, plan of action to strengthen the party in Seemandhra region etc are among the other important issues to be discussed at the day-long meeting.
Sources said that Jagan would also take stock of political situation in Telangana in the event of the bifurcation of State before election.
The party leaders from the Telangana region have been asked to submit a report on whether the party had weakened after it took U-turn on the State division. Based on the reports, Jagan would prepare a separate strategy to strengthen the party in Telangana.
The party leaders have also been asked to submit reports on farmers' issues, common man's plights and other people's issues in the deliberations.
