Heavy rain forecast in coastal areas Hyderabad: Under the influence of a deep depression along the Andhra coast, heavy to very rain may occur at isolated places in the next 48 hours.
The Met officials said that high speed winds at 45-65 kmph are likely to strike the coast. Fishermen have been cautioned not to venture into the sea. Rain or thundershowers will occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in Telangana. Increase in rainfall is the outlook for the subsequent two days.
Forecast for Hyderabad and its neighbourhood valid until the morning of Nov 21: Sky will be mainly clear. Fog/mist will occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 31 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
In view of the deep depression located at 500 km from Visakhapatnam in the west central Bay of Bengal on Tuesday, Collector Solomon Arokiaraj has cautioned the fishermen of all coastal areas in the district not to venture into the sea for two days as the sea would be very rough.
