TDP puts off Praja Garjana Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has decided to put off the party's 'Praja Garjana Sadassulu' meetings against corruption and political conspiracies which were scheduled to begin from November 21 to 26.
Party senior leader K Ramamohan Rao said that to avoid inconvenience to people in the rain-affected districts, the party put off all the four meetings in Tirupati, Nellore, Ongole and Ranga Reddy districts and has asked the cadres to take active part in rescue and rehabilitation works.
A fresh schedule of the meetings would be announced soon once normalcy was restored in the cyclone-affected areas, he added.
Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who was on a visit to his native Chittoor district and scheduled to address the first meeting at Tirupati on Thursday, has returned to Hyderabad, he said.
