JC faults CM on 'no-trust' move Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former minister from Seemandhra J C Diwakar Reddy took serious exception to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his alleged attempt to put in a fix Speaker N Manohar, who was conducting the Assembly proceedings in a decent manner.
Speaking to reporters, he accused the Chief Minister of behaving foolishly to serve 'no-confidence motion' against the Speaker who was said to be in favour of sending Assembly opinion on the Telangana Bill followed by the Center's diktat.
Feigning ignorance on the proposed 'no confidence motion' by some leaders in the Assembly, Diwakar said that there is no relation to Telangana draft bill and prorogue.
He also stated that the Speaker will strictly follow the norms with regard to conducting Assembly. On Telangana Congress MLA Shankar Rao's notice to Speaker stating that he himself and people have lost confidence on the Chief Minister, Diwakar said that better we ignore such letters.
Diwakar Reddy's comments assume significance in the wake of the letter ostensibly written by the CM to the Speaker to create impediment against conducting the House. Consequently, the Speaker is said to have expressed discontent on the letter and is unhappy.
