Naidu, Kiran are Sonia's agents: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (INN): Reiterating that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu are extending their full support for the division of the State, YSR Congress has said that it has been explicit on its stand of keeping the State united.

'YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been championing the cause of a united state while others are a confused lot and are full of ambiguity on the issue. Our leader has been mobilizing national support for an integrated state while the chief minister and leader of opposition are dancing to Delhi tunes,' party deputy floor leader Shobha Nagi Reddy told reporters here on Friday.

While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has challenged Sonia Gandhi, her decision and raised the question of her citizenship, both Chandrababu Naidu and Kiran Kumar Reddy are following the script written by high command and acting as her agents.

Chandrababu Naidu never utters a single word against Sonia Gandhi while Kiran Kumar Reddy is only posing as being defiant but it is part of game plan of Congress to save its face in Seemandhra. Had he been so sincere on the stand, he should have expressed his views immediately after the CWC decision.

The TDP leader is now trying to divert the topic and bring in non-issues about the Speaker's role and accusing him of being a Congress agent while in reality both Naidu and Kiran Kumar Reddy are Congress agents, she said.

Naidu has been exposed of his double speak by giving a letter in favour of division before touring Telangana region and leveling baseless allegations against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to gain sympathy in Seemandhra, but he lost credibility in his home turf and is scared of the Samaikhya Shankaravam which will kick-off from Kuppam, she said.

'Our leader has the moral superiority to tour the region as he has spelt out the party stand with clarity and conviction unlike Naidu who is ambiguous and Kiran Kumar Reddy who is taking people for a ride with his false pretentions,' she said.

If the Chief Minister and Union Ministers are really opposed to the division, they should have quit the very day the division decision was taken. No Congress chief minister can survive for a single day after defying Sonia Gandhi and Kiran Kumar Reddy is still in office only to carry out the high command's directives, she said.

Both Naidu and Kiran Kumar Reddy are playing with the future of the people of the state and Congress agents, she said.

She also flayed TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu for his baseless charges against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. His allegations stem out of Jagan phobia and he should instead compel his leader Chandrababu Naidu to speak out on Samaikhya Andhra, she added.
