Sharad Yadav opposes Telangana New Delhi: The YSR Congress Party president, Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday wondered how Telangana will be formed without considering resolution of state assembly.
YS Jagan, who has been consulting the national leaders for the purpose of keeping the state united, met Janatadal (U) leader Sharad Yadav on Saturday afternoon.
He held discussions with him on the matter of latest developments in the state. Later, he spoke to media and said that he requested Sharad Yadav to extend support for stopping the process of state bifurcation.
Later, while speaking to media, Sharad Yadav said Jagan held discussions with him regarding the unity of the state. He iterated that they have never given support for the formation of Telangana.
He also wondered how the state bifurcation will be done without considering the resolution passed by the state assembly. He reminded of the bifurcation of the states in the previous instances. He said he will declare whether to give support or not on Telangana issue, inside the parliament.
