Renuka says High command spared her on request New Delhi: New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member of Congress party, Renuka Chowdhary on Wednesday demanded for the inclusion of Bhadrachalam revenue division in Telangana. She spoke to media in New Delhi and said there is a need to consider the views of Seemandhra people on the state bifurcation issue.
She viewed the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy not as a Telangana opposer. She said her mother has been ailing for past sometime and there has been a need for her to look after her ailing mother, personally.
Hence, she said, she informed the congress high command of her inability to take up the responsibility bestowed upon her. She said it was for the same reason, the high command has spared her from the responsibility.
