SA Cong MLAs to stall Telangana Bill HYDERABAD: Congress MLA from Vijayawada Malladi Vishnu has said that some of his party MLAs from Seemandhra are exploring various options to stall the Telangana bill when it is referred by the President to the Assembly.
'The possibility of moving a resolution in the Assembly, when it holds a special session, urging the Centre to keep Andhra Pradesh united is one option being considered by us. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy may be urged to move such a resolution,' he told mediapersons here on Thursday.
But some other MLAs rule out the possibility, saying that the resolution, if moved by the chief minister, should have the approval of the cabinet which would not be possible at the present juncture.
They also opine that it might not be easy for them to introduce such a resolution in the special session of the House deviating from the specified agenda of discussing the T-bill as the bill would be referred to the House by none other than the President.
