Telangana Bill Not Now: Lagadapati HYDERABAD: Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has said that the Telangana Bill may not come for a debate in the forthcoming winter session of the Parliament. Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat here on Saturday, he said that the GoM report should be placed before the Cabinet.
Later, the government will prepare a draft bill and again place it before the Cabinet. The T-Bill would not come for a debate in the Cabinet meeting scheduled on Tuesday, he said.
The entire process would take at least one month's time and the Bill may not be tabled in the Parliament during the winter session. Elections in 2014 would be held in the united AP only. He reiterated that he would quit public life, if the state was divided.
