APNGOs' to resume stir from Dec 9 VIJAYAWADA: All the JACs in Seemandhra will resume the 'Save Andhra Pradesh' agitation on December 9 and continue it till December 20, APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu has said.
Participating in the Samaikya Yuvajana Sadassu meeting here on Thursday, he said the steering committee of APNGOs Association will meet on December 7 to chalk out their strategy. The announcement for creation of Telangana state was first made on December 9, 2009 and hence the APNGOs decided to resume their agitation on Dec 9, he said.
A 9-km human chain will be formed encircling Indrakeeladri hill here on December 9 and it will be observed as Betrayal Day, he said. The APNGOs will lay siege to the State Assembly if the Union government goes against the wishes of the Telugu people, he said, adding that the people of a majority districts in Telangana are opposing bifurcation.
Rallies, protests, power shut-down and highway blockade will be organised from December 9 to 20 in Seemandhra districts, Ashok Babu said. He said the APNGOs would meet TRS and MIM leaders soon to ask them to rethink about division since the Congress party is not giving clarity on any issue.
