Telangana Bhavan breaks into celebrations
HYDERABAD: As soon as Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde announced the cabinet decision on Telangana, Telangana Bhavan erupted in joy with party workers shouting 'Jai Telangana' slogans and dancing with joy.
The announcement was greeted by wild celebrations by TRS supporters. About 100 party workers, most of them youth, gathered at the party office and started bursting crackers and distributing sweets. They raised 'pro-Telangana' and 'Jai TRS' slogans.
Holding up party's pink flags and pictures of the party chief, the activists raised slogans of 'Jai Telangana'. At one point of time all them came out of the party office and blocked the road disrupting traffic for sometime.
The celebration went for about two hours. Similar celebrations were reported from other Telangana districts.
