Digvijay hints at special session for T-Bill New Delhi, Dec 6 (INN): AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Friday hinted that the Centre might convene a special session of the Parliament to table the Telangana Bill.
Speaking to media persons here, Digvijay Singh informed that the Bill would be sent for President Pranab Mukherjee's approval by Friday night and he would then decide on how much time should be given to the State Legislative Assembly to give its opinion.
Stating that the it might take some time for the Bill to come from the State Assembly to Parliament, he said that if the Centre fails to introduce the Bill in winter session then a special session would be convened to pass the Bill.
Digvijay Singh said that the Congress party has devised its own strategy to pass the Bill. He also said that irrespective of individual opinion, all Congress leaders would have to abide by the decision taken by the Congress Working Committee.
