Shankar Rao breaks ground for Sonia's temple Hyderabad, Dec 9 (INN): Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao Monday laid the foundation stone for the temple of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
The temple is being constructed on Shankar Rao's private land of about nine-acres at Nandigama of Kotturu mandal. Speaking to media persons on the occasion, while Seemandhra leaders burnt Sonia's effigies, destroyed posters and even constructed a tomb of her, people of Telangana would build temples to honour her for taking a favourable decision on formation of Telangana State.
The foundation stone laying ceremony coincided with the birthday of Sonia Gandhi on Monday.
