Rayalaseema ministers meet, allege injustice HYDERABAD: Ministers from Rayalaseema, including C Ramachandraiah, Erasu Pratap Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy, Ahamedulla and TG Venktesh, have expressed concern over the grave injustice being meted out to the Rayalaseema region in the wake of Brijesh Kumar Tribunal's final verdict on Krishna river water.
At a meeting held here on Thursday, they said that water was paramount for any developmental project or industrial development and that very important thing was denied to the Rayalaseema.
They also took exception to the draft Telangana Bill. Ramachandraiah said it was hurting that the draft spoke of the need for setting up a steel plant in Telangana in disregard to Rayalaseema though necessary resources were available in Kadapa district.
According to sources, the ministers might make a representation to the President on the injustice to Rayalaseema in all aspects.
