Lokesh interacts with Telangana Youth HYDERABAD: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh, who had of late started taking part in active politics, is trying to attract youth into the party fold.
Through Telugu Nadu Student Forum (TNSF) and Telugu Yuvatha Lokesh is meeting youth, especially college students of various universities. He is organising workshops and meetings for students and youth and is even providing tips how they could serve the party.
Lokesh on Thursday organised a workshop for college students of Telangana region at NTR Bhavan. Over 500 students from different colleges of the region participated in the workshop. Lokesh interacted with students for over four hours and collected information from them and also gave them suggestions.
Speaking on the occasion he called upon party youth wing to prepare themselves for the 2014 general elections. '2014 general elections is very crucial for the party and we should see that the party come to power at any cost.
We should see that we reach to each and every voter, especially youth and convince them to vote for the party. Our youth wing members should visit every college in the region and see that more and more students join the party,' he asserted.
Coming down heavily on TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy he alleged that because of these two the state was being divided. He highlighted the achievements of TDP government, especially during his father Chandrababu Naidu's period.
With the TDP not taking clear stand on state bifurcation and Chandrababu of late bending towards Seemandhra region, the meet of students of Telangana region had gained significance.
Despite the fact that the party's reputation in the region has taken severe beating due to its stand on bifurcation, students who participated in the meeting looked very optimistic about the party's prospects in the coming general elections.
Lokesh is also planning to organise workshop for students of Seemandhra region on December 16 at the same venue.
