T Ministers points gun at CM Kiran HYDERABAD: In the wake of delay in presenting the Telangana Bill in the Assembly, Telangana Congress leaders including deputy chief minister Damodara Rajanarasimha and panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy fumed at chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and gunned for his scalp.
If Jana Reddy directly attacked his boss saying that the state government was trying to buy time to table the T-Bill in the House, the deputy chief minister went further and said people of Telangana had lost confidence in the leadership of the chief minister and hence he demanded immediate sacking of Kiran from the post.
In an informal chat with reporters on the Assembly premises here on Friday, Rajanarasimha even wanted holding of the meeting of the Congress Legislature Party to decide the next chief minister in place of Kiran.
Police Complaint against Diggy
Meanwhile, Telugu Yuvata, youth wing of the TDP, lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police on Friday seeking action against AICC state affairs in-charge Digvijaya Singh for travelling in a vehicle having red beacon lights. The complainant Mallikarjun alleged that Digvijaya Singh violated the directions of the Supreme Court by travelling in a vehicle having red beacon light.
