TDP insists on Assembly resolution HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam is insisting that a resolution be adopted by the state legislative Assembly on the AP Reorganisation Bill-2013.
'Without an Assembly resolution, the division process cannot be started,' party president and leader of the opposition N Chandrababu Naidu told reporters here on Sunday.
The division process was very atrocious, he said and added that the Centre did not give any clarity on Articles 3 and 371 (D) or (E) of the Constitution. There was no clarity either on the common capital and other issues. There was no unanimity on several issues, he claimed and wanted a resolution in the Assembly.
Naidu did not reveal his plans on a poll tie-up with NDA. He said his party would support the Lokpal Bill in Parliament and called for a nationwide debate on it.
'There is around `5 lakh crore black money stashed away abroad. If the Lokpal is not effective, it will become another CBI which has come to be known as Congress Bureau of Investigation. 'The Lokpal bill should be effective and should be adopted immediately to end corruption in the country.'
Blaming the Congress for the corruption in the country, Naidu said that the end of Congress rule was the only solution.
