Kavuri hurl abuses in return to eggs
Eluru: The Union Minister of Textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao faces the wrath of Samaikyandhra activists in Chintalupudi of West Godavari district today. In a fit of rage Kavuri dares Samaikya activists who blocked his convoy from moving ahead. He called the agitators as useless fellows and idiots. He described NGOs as corrupt fellows who doesnt move without being bribed.
Kavuri received flak from the agitators; the supporters of Samaikyandhra hurled eggs and chanted Samaikyandhra slogans. The agitators held Kavuri responsible for the hastened process of T-formation and alleged that Kavuri preferred his personal interests to the communal interests. Reacting to these comments, Kavuri made the above comments.
The police meddled and carried out lathi charge on the protestors. Almost 20 leaders supporting the cause of Samikyandhra have been arrested and sent to a nearby police station.
