Protest held at US consulate in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Students belonging to Left parties and others on Thursday held a protest at the US consulate in Hyderabad over the ill-treatment meted out to Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade in New York.
The protesters, under the banner of All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO), raised slogans against the US administration outside the consulate at Begumpet here. They held placards accusing US of being racist. Police removed the protesters from the place.
