Over 24,700 senior inter students skip exams Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): As many as 24,759 or 5.97% of registered candidates abstained on the second day of intermediate examination held across the Telangana State on Tuesday.
According to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), of 388,503 candidates in General and 26,494 candidates in Vocational categories, about 5.97% abstained from appearing for Telugu paper 'II, Sanskrit paper-II, Hindi Paper-II, Urdu Paper - II or Arabic Paper - II. A total of three cases of malpractice have been booked against the candidates.
The BIE had sent Observers to Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad Districts. The examination has been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the board said in a press release.
