Assembly passes Motion of Thanks on Guv's address
Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): The Telangana State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed the Motion of Thanks on the address of Governor ESL Narsimhan to the Telangana Legislature on March 7.
The Motion of Thanks was discussed for two days in the Assembly and passed on Tuesday evening with 11 amendments. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave a reply to the objections raised by the members on different issues and contented that the Governor's address presented an overview of State Government's vision for Telangana's development.
After the Chief Minister's clarification, Speaker S Madhusudan Chary passed the Motion of Thanks with voice vote. Later, he adjourned the House to meet on Wednesday at 10 AM for the budget
