GHMC aims to complete 2BHK scheme in six months Hyderabad, March 10 (INN): The Two bed room flat with Kitchen, Hall, Toilets with an area of 580 sft., for the poor people at IDH Colony of Bhoiguda is likely to be completed in the next six months.
According to GHMC Commissioner & Special Officer Somesh Kumar, the construction work has been going on war footing basis as per the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who had announced the schemes on October 3rd last year on Vijayadasami Day.
The GHMC Special Officer is personally monitoring the ongoing works at IDH Colony, Bhoiguda fixing the responsibility on the Engineering Wing to complete the works within the stipulated time. All together, works on 33 blocks have been started and a total of 396 flats would be completed in a stipulated time. The beneficiaries of these flats include 276 SCs,, 31 STs, 79 BCs and 10 minorities. The total cost of the project is Rs. 36.54 crores. Of this, Rs 1.16 crores for have been allotted for roads, Rs 56 lakh for Storm Water drains, Rs 62 lakh for drinking water facility, Rs 72 lakh for electricity, Rs 30 lakh for parks and vegetable markets and Rs 60 lakh for various civic related works.
