Over 49,800 students skip inter exams Hyderabad, March 11 (INN): As many as 49,805 or 9.3% of registered candidates abstained from the intermediate examination held across the Telangana State on Wednesday.
According to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), of 492,913 candidates in General and 41,967 candidates in Vocational categories, about 9.3% abstained from appearing for English Paper - I. A total of three cases of malpractice have been booked against the candidates.
The BIE had sent Observers to Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Medak districts. The examination has been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the board said in a press release.
